Who is Servolution?
​
Servolution Health Services, Inc. is a separate 501c3 Non-Profit Corporation and was started as a response to the tremendous need for primary, dental and mental healthcare for the underserved within our community and in order to love and serve the community in a practical way.
In 2011 Pump Springs Baptist Church received a HRSA Planning Grant to conduct a health needs assessment for the community. Over 4,100 survey forms were returned to the grant team and they revealed the overwhelming need for health care and dental care for the uninsured and the underinsured. The grant team and staff of PSBC realized that a healthcare clinic was needed for the community and that the community would best be served if area church members would come together and work on this endeavor.

Who was Job?
Job was a man who suffered greatly. All his gold, silver and herds were stolen. He had ten children – seven sons and three daughters. They all died on the same day. And, finally, he had serious medical problems. Boils covered his body. Whether he stood, sat or laid down, he was in great pain. His losses and suffering were overwhelming. Yet Job confessed to God that “You have granted me life and favor, And Your care has preserved my spirit” (Job 10:12).
Job reminds us about something important. Our spirits are part of who we are. This truth was reinforced by Jesus' ministry. He told the multitudes about the kingdom of God and he healed those who had need of healing (Luke 9:11). Jesus showed God's care about both our physical and spiritual needs.
To further assure us that God cares about us, Jesus told about five sparrows that were sold for two cents. That means they weren't worth very much. Yet Jesus assures us that not one of those sparrows is forgotten by God. He knows their needs and provides for them. Then Jesus made the amazing statement. “The very hairs of your head are all numbered” (Luke 12:6). If our hairs are numbered,God doesn't just know if some are missing. He knows which ones are missing. What does this say about God's knowledge and concern for every part of our lives? In light of such complete knowledge about us, Jesus commanded, “Do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows” (Luke 12:6).
We at Servolution Health Services recognize both a person's physical health and spiritual health is important. Therefore, we offer spiritual care to help with spiritual problems just as we offer medical care to help with physical problems.
